Büchli Matthijs
biographie
Matthijs Büchli (b. 1992) is a Dutch track cyclist who began his career as a Sprinter but has now transitioned into a strong Endurance rider.
The highlight of Matthijs’ career so far came at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics when he won a gold medal in the Team Sprint alongside team-mate and fellow UCI Track Champions League rider Harrie Lavreysen. Prior to that, Matthijs had also claimed no-less than five rainbow jerseys and two European titles, and it’ll be interesting to see how he gets on against the world’s best Endurance riders in his first UCI Track Champions League campaign.
