Archibald Katie
biographie
Katie Archibald (b. 1994) is a British cyclist who specialises in the Endurance events at the UCI Track Champions League. Katie began her athletic career as a swimmer but found cycling through her introduction to grass track racing in Scotland at the age of 17. In the space of just two years she’d earned a place for herself on British Cycling’s Olympic Development Academy.
Katie’s career has been hugely successful sice then, having won four Tissot UCI Track World Championships, three European Championships, and two Olympic gold medals. Katie added to that long list of achievements by taking the UCI Track Champions League Women’s Endurance title last season, winning five of the eight races along the way, and she’ll be looking to defend that crown in 2022.
