Stenberg Anita Yvonne

biographie

Anita Stenberg (b. 1992) is a Norwegian track cyclist who competes in Endurance events. Anita got into sports at a young age, exploring diverse activities such as horse riding, gymnastics, swimming and kickboxing. It wasn’t until she was 16 that she began focusing on cycling in order to combat a knee injury she’d picked up whilst cross country running.

She excelled on the bike immediately, and by the time she was 17, she hit the track for the first time, winning an Individual Pursuit race in the process. Ever since then she’s been hooked and risen to the very top of the sport.

Anita won a bronze medal in the Points Race at the 2020 Tissot UCI Track World Championships, and earlier this year won gold in the Scratch Race at the European Championships. This is her second season in the UCI Track Champions League.
