Ever since its launch in 2021, the UCI Track Champions League has been dedicated to promoting equality within the sport. The league, which features the same competition format for men and women, the same number of riders, and equal prize money, attracts the very best track cycling talent from across the globe.
In celebration of International Women’s Day, Discovery Sports Events spoke with three key riders from the league, including reigning Women’s Sprint champion Mathilde Gros (France), four-time UCI World Champion Pauline Grabosch (Germany) and two-time UEC European Champion Rachele Barbieri (Italy).
